Another take on the House managers’ presentation: boring, repetitious, overblown, and thoroughly unconvincing. Loads of documentation of upset bureaucrats, pompous airing of policy disagreements, does not equal a high crime. Neither did anyone explain why requesting an investigation of a “debunked” conspiracy theory is an impeachable misdemeanor. After torturing Senators for days, the Democrats expect them to vote to extend their period in purgatory. I think the punitive presentation eliminated the possibility of witness testimony.
