If Kaepernick objects to that flag logo on his sneakers, then he doesn’t have to buy them. Other people may find them appealing and buy them. But Nike is afraid to provide customers what they might want if an important political commissar objects. The problem is that Nike is a complete wuss of a company. It trips over its own sneakers prostrating itself on the altar of the ever-changing dictates of political correctness. The solution going forward is to order sneakers and all sporting gear from Nike with an added decal of the flag. Put stickers of the flag on every swoosh you see and on every Nike product in sight. We need to all just do it and declare we are not subservient to Kaepernick’s dictates about how we display current or prior versions of our flag.
