It’s more than unfortunate. It’s an escalation to organized mob intimidation, institutional obstruction, and personal harassment that was first started by Left-wing activists on campus before Trump was even a candidate. After Hillary’s defeat, the Progressive Left became the dominant wing of the Democratic Party and has pushed its leaders to embrace more radical positions and more violent tactics. The screaming disruption of Senate hearings, the mob pounding on the doors of the Supreme Court, the protestors forcing Senators to flee restaurants are all unprecedented and are all manifestations of what the Democratic Party has now become. That has nothing to do with Trump. In fear of being swept aside by the same organized factions that are pushing violent agitation, formerly moderate Democrats are trying to signal their support for these extreme tactics. Here you have written a white-wash trying to blame this large scale escalation on what happened at a rally and not at a restaurant three years ago. No one believes that. The truth is the Democrats are openly raising the level of violence. The whole country sees it. The question is: do you support this push for mob rule?
