Jimmy Carter is a wonderful man as demonstrated by his work for Habitat for Humanity helping the poor. He may have been an excellent nuclear engineer. I’ll even grant his ability to farm peanuts. But he was a horrible President, in far over his depth, hopelessly indecisive and naive, and generally incompetent. His handling of the economy spawned the term stagflation and his handling of the Iranian situation was a fiasco from start to finish and haunts us to this day. So why should we be surprised when he makes completely unsupportable assertions about what the result of the election would be after a hypothetical investigation is done, as if such an investigation could ever produce an exact number like a recount?
Your analysis is spot-on. If the Russians are so clever with social media that they can spend a few hundred thousand and change the election, then the Democrats should stop spending hundreds of millions and instead hire the Russians.
