MAGA is not a slur against anyone. You miss its aspirational inclusive theme. Not make white America great , or make the men of America great, but make all of America great. Many Blacks wear MAGA hats. You are starting from the racist assumption that Blacks have to follow the politics you want them to. No doubt most vote Democratic, but not all. Meanwhile Trump’s economic policies have led to the lowest Black unemployment and the highest Black employment ever. Trump’s opposition to large scale illegal immigration is due partly to the fact that it undercuts the wages of poor and lower working class people, a disproportionate number of whom are Black or Hispanic. Trump pushed a bipartisan prison reform bill that is helping Blacks. Trump also wants a massive infrastructure plan enacted, a measure that would help many urban Black Americans. His military budget increases have also benefited Black members of our Armed Forces. Meanwhile the Democrats tolerate leaders who used to have a fun time dressing up in Blackface and KKK robes. Their big issue, Russian collusion, turns out to be a hoax. It’s an upper class White issue anyway. Resistance Democrats jump onto other hoaxes, like the Jossie Smollet case, just because he alleged the attackers wore MAGA caps. They supported an misleading edited video of the Covington kids and broadcast lies about the event (tribal elder turns out to be Democratic party activist, he was surrounded by these kids turns out to be he came up and confronted them). They are more concerned with identity politics than with issues that matter to lower class people.
Don’t be surprised if more Blacks put on MAGA hats and if Trump clears 15% of the Black vote.
