Trump wants to make sure America keeps seeing them as the face of the Democrat party and that even Nancy has to fall in behind them. He believes they will help the Republicans defeat Democrat moderates elected in 2018 and return the House to GOP control. He wants to keep the focus on them as that will draw attention away from Democrat Presidential candidates and will force the eventual nominee to keep genuflecting before them.
