There are literally hundreds of cases of electoral fraud proven beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. One recent notable case of fraud led to the overturn of the 2018 Congressional election in North Carolina. A new election was held. Voter fraud is like shoplifting — those that get away with it don’t show up in the statistics. So our statistics show how much fraud is committed by inept fraudsters or how good our existing systems are at catching some of the cheaters. Trump further objects to new lax rules that practically invite voter fraud. You have no evidence the new rules won’t allow massive fraud. To maintain electoral integrity we need a tight system with multiple safeguards agsinst fraud. Large scale voter harvesting, ballots delivered after election day, mass distribution of ballots to everyone on inaccurate registration lists: these are not measures that promote an honest election. Excuse me, if the Democrats felt they could win honestly, they would not be proposing any of this. They are setting up an election process awash in ambiguity and litigation with no clear winner. They have foolishly set up a scenario in which Trump will have an Electoral College majority on election night.
