Very funny, but the truth is her jocular sympathy for Al Qaeda, her dismissive “somebody did something" lack of concern for American victims of 911, her anti-Semitic “it’s all about the Benjamins” and more, all underscore the fact that Carlson is on target in questioning the wisdom of allowing her in in the first place. Most immigrants to America, especially those escaping from refugee camps and war, are grateful to be in such a welcoming and tolerant country and they take pride in becoming Americans. Her whole attitude screams ingratitude and hostility to the very country that saved her. It’s not her race or gender or ethnicity or religion. It’s her opinions and values. It’s a question of whether she wants to adopt and contribute to American culture or replace it with something foreign. It’s the doubt about her loyalty, whether she feels pride or disgust when she sees the US flag. You can try to whitewash the question with humor, but until she changes her opinions and sincerely apologizes for all her anti-American and anti-Semitic comments, these questions won’t go away.
