You negated your Reagan quote by writing:

But his racism was evident throughout his presidency even without him saying it explicitly. {bold added for emphasis}

You then proceeded to criticize policies and make the argument Reagan’s policies were implicitly racist. This leads the reader to think that, at least for this one, you are making your charges of racism in support of a political agenda.

To be fair, you should also point out the positive stands Reagan took against racism. Here are two examples:

He quickly and emphatically denounced the KKK when it endorsed him in 1980. https://www.nytimes.com/1984/05/02/us/reagan-spurns-klan-support.html

He also acted when a hotel refused to let his Eureka College Black Football Team teammates stay in the hotel with the team near his hometown of Dixon Illinois. Reagan invited them to stay with him in his house.

“ Once, while he was in college, Reagan invited two black teammates from his college football team to stay in their house since the boys were not allowed to stay in the local hotel where the football team was residing” 65 Interesting Facts About Ronald Reagan — The Fact File

I also note you did not include Joe Biden in your list of racists. He made a dozen overtly racist quotes and, worse, he said them publicly.

In 1977 he publicly said:

Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a Jungle…a racial jungle” -Joe Biden 1977

In 2020 he declared,

Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids. Joe Biden 2019

Maybe in the next piece you can attack racism on all sides.
